The first week itself, I had to review so many files. 21 files as I recall. Crazy!
Then comes the second week. Slacking! It all started with a crazy night out with a friend who came down from New Zealand. By the way, I made 1 new friend that night. :-) Back to the story, we brought our guests to eat at Fatty Crab. Delicious as usual. We then said goodbye to Wui Li (whom decided to head back to office to work instead of partying with us) before heading off to KL where we end up in Butter Factory. The music was awesome. It happened to be the pre party for Future Music Festival. We all prefer the lady DJ compared to the guy. Girl rocks!
Sam and Sarah went back home after Butter Factory while myself, Eugene and Jamahl went to Zouk. Ladies night at Zouk was great. Mambo Jambo baby! We partied until the club closes at 3am. Then, the weirdest thing happened. Myself and Eugene took a separate cab back to MO. I do not know where Jamahl went. Everything was a blur that night. Too much drinking. I end up going to the office around 1pm the next day. Zaq was kind enough to send me back as I have a meeting at 4pm. My stomach was not happy and I had a bad headache. Gosh! I decided to head home right after dim sum dinner with the team.
Next craziest thing happened. Eugene invited me to Singapore to hang out with him on Friday night. I was reluctant at first but what the hell right? All expenses paid for except transportation from airport to hotel and vice versa. Plus, the hotel is nice. We had a great night out, just chill and drink by the river at Clark Quay. I deserve a quiet night out even though it is a little bit too far. It was the perfect night. I didn't want to ruin the feelings and decided not to join him and his sister for dinner. We already agreed that we will not get to far. "We will not get too deep".
I head to the airport earlier as it was pouring since the night before. I hated the fact that flight was delayed but at least I got home safely. I didn't have the strength to party anymore that night. My stomach is not happy at all. So I end up going back home.
That was the end of a crazy week and crazy weekend. It was worth it. Something I have never done before but I was glad it was him who I spent my time with, even though it was a little strange at first. I should call it "The unexpected visit from an unexpected friend with unexpected ending".
